In the very near past, i came to the conclusory facts that a lot of our men are no longer eager to get married, I believe they have their motives, and like most of them will always say; “they haven’t gathered enough money”, “they are waiting for God’s time”, bla bla bla. Little wonder why our ladies are still single and playing the chasing game. 

One of the chief reasons why most men aren’t eager to walk down the aisle is because:
1. "Men can get s*x without marriage more easily than in time past”; Gone were the days when women insisted on getting married before s*x. Men now realize that they can get it more easily, and so they do not go out looking for these ladies anymore, I mean, if the ladies are everywhere making themselves available like pure water, then what is the point GETTING MARRIED?
2. “Men fear that marriage will require too many changes and compromise": Most men just want a wife “to look good, provide great s*x, and boss the kitchen. While the Women are more detailed; 'They want affection, they want to feel loved, they want a great conversationalist, a man who can make them laugh, a good father, and bla bla bla. Arhh! NO! Some men are not just ready for these changes at all, they enjoy staying single, with all the freedom that comes with it.
3. “Men face few social pressures to marry”: Men face few social and family pressures to marry compared to what the females have to face, it’s no big deal, men don’t worry too much,
After all he can get married at 75.
4. "Men can enjoy the benefits of having a wife by cohabiting rather than marrying": So sad, a lot of singles are living together now without being married, our ladies call it "flexing", wow!, if we can be flexing and living together without a ring, then why bother myself with the entire marriage ceremony?, How do you expect these men to consider getting married when they have found a short cut to it?
5. "Men want to own properties before they get a wife: a friend of mine once jokingly said ‘I haven’t finished building my house in my village, it is to come and look for a wife’, very funny, but so true. Some want to have the world before getting a wife, a lot of blindly oriented men out there. 
6. "Men want to avoid divorce and its financial risks": With the rate of divorce on an alarming increase, who would want to just jump into one anyways, men are scared, and cautious, why get married when it might most probably end in another 'Jack Robinson’.
7. "They want to wait until they are older to have children": Most young men today don’t express “burning desire” for children, saying they are not ready for fatherhood and all the responsibilities accrued to it. Workaholics with no time to tend to a crying baby, let alone a nosy wife. 
8."Generational curses” : I don’t want to believe you are unfamiliar with this term, it’s a topic I will like to treat cautiously on its own, for many it’s not like they are not eager to get married, it’s more like ‘they cannot’ ,except the yoke is broken!

Always be reminded that there are a lot of blessings waiting for you at the doors of Holy Matrimony, no matter your excuses for delay; “he who finds a wife finds a good thing”.
