Tech Insight by Mr. A.
Hello guys, new week, month’s going fine. Some people still dey house dey chop meat, GP dey look you no worry. Your GP go soon make ur chest hair stand *coughs*. So today I just thought to myself, a lot of people have issues searching the net. I know we all have that friend that would rather ping u than ask Google.
So, when next they ping u a question, refer them here, instead of getting mad and blowing a fuse.
So after connecting to wifi or whatever, first rule of the net is..
- Not all links should be clicked e.g Avoid big flashy buttons: A lot of people see those internet button with games and stuff being advertised on them and they get hooked. On a scale of 1 (being you wasted data) to 10 being you get your accounts hacked and lose money the options are slimmer with each click. Be careful.
- Always have an internet security and firewall on: This will help in protect malicious backtracking attacks. What I mean is that it will prevent people taking your internet address and attacking your system. If you do this you won’t get any nudes leaked.
- Be careful where and what you comment: The internet has its police and they are watching. Do not just post stuff or it could be used against you-you could be the next meme.
- Use secure search engines: when searching for content, use Google, Bing, Ask, Yahoo. Most of the others are fakes and can steal your identity.
- Search engines use keywords: When you want to search lets say your system is having Bluetooth issues in your galaxy S4, don’t do type this "what should I do my s4 Bluetooth is not working". You should use something like "S4 Bluetooth problems fix". The first sentence is gonna give you quite a lot of junk from forums while the second will get you solution sites. Be specific in your search terms. Also "+" signs in between words can help.
- Do not believe everything you see on the internet: A lot of things are lies flood the internet every day. The other day I checked a review and found that the Facebook account that reviewed it was opened the previous day. Don’t get drawn into easy money or nice faces.
