Slangs in malabor
The
#unicalnation crew spent time in the hostels this weekend, we got to blend with
malabites/malabresses and learnt some of the slangs used in the hostel….here
are some we could remember
*You
no dey tire for yourself; Na wa for you ooooo : this just means “hold your
peace”
*No
dey gbes anyhow: Respect yourself
*S’common
s’cate out: Get out
*Club
89: Female hostel (hall 8 and hall 9)
*Ewu
malabite: uncial male student
*Manchi:
Females (especially malabresses)
*Tutu
mkpong girls: runs girls
*This
is how we ball (this is very self explainatory)
*S.O.S:
Shit On Shit (majorly used to describe the situation in the hostel toilet)
*In-laws:
aristos that visits the female hostel
