Water Crisis
Good morning unicalnation, happy Tuesday. As usual, we wake up, pray, eat, fetch water and prepare for the day. But in a sudden turn of events, that pattern was broken this morning when malabites of Hall 4 woke up to find that the taps servicing them and some hall 6 occupants were providing air instead if water. Immediately they turned toward the taps at hall 5. Not long after a line had to be formed to ensure order while fetching the water.
Some say the scarcity started late last night and were surprised to see it still there this morning. Some malabites had contemplated bathing with bags of pure water if they couldn’t make it to the line before their class. Some even wished rain would fall to aid them since the queue was long.
The SUG president and some officials and stakeholders were seen at the hall 5 tap discussing the cause of the scarcity. As at the time of writing no solution has been proffered.
We sincerely hope that the water will be restored as some people may not have showered or brushed in order to meet up with 7am classes. Girls watch out.
Update: The water was finally restored by afternoon, still the cause of the scarcity is vague considering there was light to pump water. Well, we happy say we fit bath tomorrow go school.
